To demonstrate their continued engagement with the UN Global Compact, non-business participants must submit a COE every two years. The COE discloses to stakeholders specific activities that a non-business participant takes in support of the UN Global Compact. It has a flexible format and may be prepared in any language.

Three Minimum Requirements

The COE Policy ( لعربية | 中文 | Français | 日本語 | 한국어 | Português | Русский | Español | tiếng Việt | Italian) sets out key information including the minimum requirements for each COE

1. A statement by the chief executive or equivalent expressing continued support for the UN Global Compact and renewing the participant’s ongoing commitment to the initiative.
2. A description of the practical actions that the organization has taken to support the UN Global Compact principles and to engage with the initiative.
3. Measurement of outcomes.
